The Glenwood Sunday Market starts up tomorrow for the summer season. Alderman Joe Moore and religious leaders will have a community bread breaking ceremony at 8:30 a.m. at the corner of Morse and Glenwood. The market will start at 9:00 a.m. and run until 2:00 p.m. VISA, MasterCard, Link and SNAP transactions are accepted.
There are a few special events happening nearby. The Hog Wild Benefit and Pork Roast is happening in front of Duke's Bar, 6920 N. Glenwood from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Rogers Park Garden Group's "Divide and Donate" Spring Plant Sale will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 1434 W. Greenleaf.
