accepting responsibility

Turner Broadcasting is accepting responsibility for all the disruption its guerrilla marketing campaign caused in the Boston area this week. Meanwhile, the two guys who were arrested for placing the devices still don't get it. I have to wonder why they don't understand that placing something that could be mistaken for a bomb in sensitive locations like transit stations and under bridges would be a joke. In our post-9/11 world, it's understandable that Boston would be cautious about anything that could be a repeat of that type of event, even on a smaller scale. This wasn't just a bad hair day, but an act of corporate irresponsibility.
